Statement on the verdict in the Qara-Chik case

The Talas District Court has convicted six sergeants of the Border Demarcation Brigade of taking bribes to pass fuel tankers. The six were dismissed from the service when the internal inquiry opened in March. The Gendarmerie brought the case itself and will not tolerate corruption in its ranks.
